Several items linked to the two teenage murder suspects from B.C were found on the shore of the Nelson River in northern Manitoba, however the RCMP is not saying what those are.
The Mounties searched the river near Gillam over the weekend after a damaged aluminum boat was discovered there Friday.
A vehicle used by the pair was found July 22, about 40-kilometres from the Manitoba town.
The development comes nearly one week after the RCMP said it would be scaling back its search for 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19-year-old Kam McLeod, who are wanted in three killings in northern B.C.
