One of Europe’s most prominent actors and screen sex symbols from the 1960s is resting at a clinic in Switzerland as he recovers from a stroke.

83 year old Alain Delon suffered the stroke a few weeks ago and spent three weeks in hospital in Paris.

The veteran French actor has spent over 60 years working in European cinema and received an honorary Palme d’Or award at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival this past May.
