The late Rob Ford could be a name adorned onto one of three new streets in Etobicoke.

He’s one of 10 names on a shortlist for the streets that are part of the six point interchange transformation.

People can go online to cast their vote for which name can be included. Another name on the list is Jerry Howarth. He was the voice of the Jays for 36 years. He retired due to health reasons early last year.

Toronto residents can vote online until September second. Once that’s done, a panel of city officials will make their recommendations. The final decision is up to the Etobicoke York Community council.

At least one Indigenous name will be among those recommended.

The decision will be announced in the fall.
