A heads up for commuters who live in central Etobicoke or pass through.
Starting Monday August 26 at 7p.m., one block section of Bloor West between Kipling Avenue and Prennan Avenue will be fully closed for reconstruction until the end of December.
It’s the final phase of the city’s work to transform the old Six Points interchange that’ll feature pedestrian friendly intersections, boulevards, trees and bike lanes.
Construction’s expected to be completed next year.
During this four month closure, to access Kipling from eastbound Bloor: head east on Bloor, south on Aukland Road, east on Dundas, then north or south on Kipling.
To access Bloor West, west of Kipling: go north or south on Kipling, west on Dundas, north on Auckland Road, then east or west on Bloor.
