Canadian folk couple Ian and Sylvia Tyson, who rose to fame as part of Toronto’s Yorkville music scene in the ’60’s are headed for the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

However, the exes, don’t always see eye to eye when it comes to their music. This as a new Ian and Sylvian album is about to drop which captures the duo’s live performances from back in the day.

Ian says he’s a little underwhelmed with the new collection but Sylvia says hearing those old recordings reminded her of how good their harmonies were.

“The Lost Tapes” comes out September 6th as Ian Tyson and Syvia Tyson go into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, not as a duo, but as individuals.
