A friend of Zoomer Radio, Foreigner’s Lou Gramm says he’s under doctor’s orders to sit on the sidelines for now.
Gramm was supposed to perform four shows with the classic and current lineup of Foreigner this month.
His publicist says Gramm was hospitalized in Rochester, New York, last week with a severe respiratory infection, dehydration and fatigue.
Gramm says in a follow-up visit yesterday, his doctors insisted that if he pushed himself to perform, he’d “be in big trouble.”
Gramm sat out Wednesday night’s show in Connecticut, and will miss three more shows through October 13th.
69 year old Gramm made a full recovery after being diagnosed with a benign brain tumour in 1997. He has performed with Foreigner off and on since then, and dropped by for a visit here at the ZoomerPlex with Neil, Sam and Jane last year.
