Brexit continues down the rocky road after the Speaker of the House of Commons refused to allow a vote on it Monday, two days after lawmakers voted to delay.

In announcing his decision, Speaker John Bercow explained parliamentary rules generally bar the same measure from being considered a second time during the same session of Parliament unless something has changed.
Brecow says Boris Johnson’s Conservative government could still secure ratification for the Brexit deal by October 31, if it had the numbers in Parliament.
Meanwhile, a Brexit expert at the European Parliament says the legislature may even meet in full session next week if that’s what’s required to get the deal through.
