It was another successful Zoomer Show over the weekend at Toronto’s Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place.
More than 25,000 people attended the 12th annual Toronto lifestyle show for the 45-plus crowd.
“The thing about the modern age is that so much of our experience is modulated by media, so whether it’s your smart phone, or television or the new streaming services, the digital life is imaginary in a way,” Zoomer Media Founder and CARP President Moses Znaimer explains, “And what I like about this show is it makes everything real and tangible and physical.”
Moses joined Ontario’s Minister for Seniors Raymond Cho on Saturday, when both got their free flu shot at the Zoomer Show.
Ontario is the only province to cover the cost of the new high-dose flu vaccine for those 65 or older, which is 24 percent more effective for seniors over the standard flu shot.
