At his NATO summit concluding news conference, the Canadian prime minister made reference to a video showing Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron talking at a Buckingham Palace reception about the U.S. president’s lengthy news conferences.
Trudeau says Trump even caught his own staff off-guard by revealing the next G7 summit will be at the presidential retreat at Camp David.
”Every different leader has teams whose jaws drop at unscheduled surprises.  Like that video itself, for example,” the prime minister said.
In his response to the video, Trump called Trudeau ”two-faced.”
”I find him to be a nice guy, but the truth is, I called him out on the fact that he’s not paying two-percent and I guess he’s not very happy about it,” added the president.
Trump had jokingly said Canada was ”slightly delinquent” on meeting NATO’s defence spending target.
