Three former students of St. Michael’s College School have been sentenced to two years probation for assaulting and sexually assaulting two students on campus last year.
One of the teens, who recorded one of the sex assaults on his cellphone, also pleaded guilty to making child porn.
The Crown had sought 12 to 15 months in jail for two teens and 10 to 12 months for the third.
Lawyers for the boys had asked for two years probation with no jail time, saying their clients are ashamed and remorseful.
Four other teens were initially charged.
One had his charges withdrawn.
The cases of two other accused have concluded, though the Ministry of the Attorney General has not revealed the outcomes.
