As we get set to ring in a new decade, celebrations are planned across Toronto.
Nathan Phillips Square is New Year’s Eve central with live music, a skating party and fireworks. The all-ages event runs from 9pm to midnight.
A New Year’s Eve party is also taking place at the Royal Ontario Museum. Attendees will have special access to the exhibition Bloodsuckers: Legends to Leeches.
Countdown parties are also being held in Mississauga at Celebration Square and in Brampton at Garden Square.
If you’re enjoying the evening at home, make sure you turn on Zoomer Radio for our special New Year’s Eve show beginning at 7pm.
Whatever you’re doing in Toronto, you can get there safely and free of charge. The TTC is offering free rides from 7 Tuesday evening until 7am Wednesday. GO Transit and UP Express are also both offering free rides after 7 on Tuesday evening. There will be extended service on the subways until about 3:30am. Extended service will also be offered by GO Transit.
