In a short statement, the British monarch has agreed to grant the couple their wish for a more independent life that’ll see them move part-time to Canada.
She says there’ll be a transition period in which the Sussexes will spend time in the U.K. and Canada.
Meghan’s already in this country with their baby son, Archie.
The Queen adds the matters that remain unresolved are ”complex” but that she’s asked for final decision to be reached shortly.
Harry and Meghan have made it clear they do not want to rely on public funds in their new lives.
