Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau insists that Iran respect the wishes of families when it comes to burying them.
”Respecting the wishes of the families lines up, not with the question of citizenship, but it lines up also with international laws and practice, and with principles around Islam for burial,” said Trudeau.
Canada is among countries that lost citizens that want Iran to get the black boxes from the jet to a facility that can quickly and reliably download and analyse the data without delay.
A preliminary report released by Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization says it needs technical assistance from France and the U-S to do that.
