The U.S. President used the annual State of the Union address on Tuesday evening to laud his administration’s accomplishments, including the new NAFTA.

Taking credit for the revamping of the 26-year-old trade document, Donald Trump spoke about the benefits to American workers.

“The USMCA will create nearly 100,000 high paying American auto jobs and massively boost exports for our farmers, ranchers and factory workers,” Trump explained.

The replacement deal is now largely complete, pending ratification in Canada’s House of Commons.

After Trump’s speech, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was seen tearing-up a copy of it.

Pelosi told reporters after the event that she felt ripping the document was the courteous thing to do, considering the alternative, adding “it was such a dirty speech.”

Trump delivered his third State of the Union address in the House Chamber, where he was impeached by House Democrats.

He’s expected to be acquitted in the U.S. Senate Wednesday.
