On a typical weekday, 25 work crews are filling in potholes across Toronto.
Saturday, there’ll be as many as 50.
Some will be on the Gardiner and Don Valley Parkway starting around 5 a.m., while others are expected on city streets by 6 a.m.
City crews have already repaired more than 29,000 potholes this year.
They normally fix more than 200,000-a-year.
The city’s budgeted about $220-million this year for road repairs and maintenance work, including between $4 and $5-million just for potholes.
