Billionaire and former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg has dropped out, and says the way to beat Donald Trump is for the party to unite and back the candidate with the best shot to do that.
Bernie Sanders says that he’s spoken to Elizabeth Warren by phone after her disappointing showing and that she’s ”not made any decisions” about leaving the Democratic presidential race.
She’s talking with advisers to determine that.
Warren did not win any of the 14 states.
Sanders won four; including the biggest prize – California.
Biden won 10; including the second most delegate rich state – Texas.
Sanders says that the Democratic presidential primary race is ”neck and neck” between him and Joe Biden but that he’s the only one not ”backed by the corporate world.”
