Sophie Gregoire Trudeau says she’s feeling uncomfortable symptoms from COVID-19, but she’ll “be back on her feet soon.”

An announcement Thursday night from the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed her positive test for the new coronavirus.

It says she’s feeling well and her symptoms remain mild.

A statement from Sophie Gregoire Trudeau herself says “although I’m experiencing uncomfortable symptoms of COVID-19, I’ll be back on my feet soon. We will get through this situation together.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in good health but will remain in isolation for 14 days and conduct meetings by telephone and videoconferencing.

Trudeau is planning to address Canadians with an update on measures to fight COVID-19 Friday.

He’s also spoken on the phone with U.S. President Donald Trump to talk about measures being taken in both countries to protect citizens.
