COVID 19 CLAIMS PLAYWRIGHT TERRANCE MCNALLY

Tributes are pouring in for playwright and screenwriter Terrance McNally who has died from complications due to COVID 19.
He won Tony’s for a number of plays and musicals including “Kiss of the Spider Woman” and `”Ragtime.”
Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, who appeared on Broadway in “The Ritz” said of McNally: “His plays were a pleasure to do, but what he says is important, too.  He’s was like a fountain who kept on writing and writing and writing.”
McNally was a lung cancer survivor who lived with chronic inflammatory lung disease.  He died Tuesday at a hospital in Sarasota, Florida at the age of 81.
