Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has asked the government house leader to reach out to the opposition parties about returning to Parliament Hill to approve more financial help for Canadians.
”This must be a Team Canada effort,” added Trudeau.
”These are the biggest economic measures in our lifetimes to defeat a threat to our health.”
The prime minister adds Canada has not seen this type of ”civic mobilization” since the Second World War.
Trudeau says it’ll take more than government to win the fight.
It’ll take all Canadians.
”This is service that most of us have never been called upon to do. We, each of us, have to live up to our end of the bargain. We must fulfill our collective responsibility to each other. Listening to public health rules is your duty. Staying home is your way to serve.”
