Doug Ford says any ”criticism” of his trip to his cottage Easter Sunday is ”fair,” after just days earlier telling others not to do so.

The premier explains it was his first morning off in two months, so he drove up – alone – to check on the plumbing because he was worried about the pipes possibly bursting.
”It was weighing on me because a couple years ago, we had burst pipes.  Made a terrible mess.  Thousands of dollars of damage,” added Ford.
Apparently, fellow Conservatives are not happy about the trip.
The PC caucus is even said to be embarrassed.
Meanwhile, Liberal MPP Mitzie Hunter says people are obeying the rules while the premier did not do his part, calling it a case of  ”do as I say not as I do”.
