Planning for the weekend already?

ActiveTO continues with some road closures to allow walkers, runners and bikers to have the proper space to exercise and physical distance at the same time.

Starting at 6am Saturday May 30th until 11pm Sunday May 31st:

Eastbound Lakeshore Boulevard will be closed to vehicles from Coxwell Avenue to Kew Beach Avenue (just south of Woodbine Avenue).

Bayview shuts down between Mill Street and Rosedale Valley Road.

River Street closes between Gerrard Street East and Bayview Avenue.

The western portion of Lakeshore Boulevard will be open this weekend, since the Gardiner Expressway is shutting down for spring maintenance.

The city highway will close in both directions in it’s entirety between the Don Valley Parkway and Highway 427 starting at 11pm Friday May 29th until 5am Monday June 1st.

Some of the maintenance work planned includes 15 lane kilometres of milling and paving, 8000 metres of crack repairs, 9000 metres of line marking, 60 metres of guide rail repair and/or replacement, and pothole repairs.
