SYNTH PRODUCER RUPERT HINE DIES AT 72

He was a synth pop music producer and the man behind Tina Turner’s Grammy winning song “You Better Be Good to ME.”

Rupert Hine, who also worked with legendary Canadian band Rush and American singers Stevie Nicks and Suzanne Vega, has died at his home in England.
Despite releasing 12 albums of his own material, Hine said he never wanted to be a rock star, but loved the idea of painting pictures with music.
His wife says the he’d undergone quadruple bypass surgery in 2010 and had battled kidney cancer since 2011.
Rupert Hine was 72.
