He was the younger brother of music legend Nat King Cole and spent most of his life slightly out of the spot light.

Jazz pianist, singer and composer Freddy Cole has died of complications from cardiac-related illness at the age of 88.

He was a four time Grammy nominee  His signature tune was “I’m Not My Brother, I’m Me.

Nat “King” Cole died of lung cancer in 1965 at the age of 45.
