HEAT WARNING FOR SOUTHERN ONTARIO

We’ll long for some of this come January, but, for now many could find this stretch of weather to be too much.
Environment Canada’s issued a heat warning for southern Ontario that could see extremely hot, humid conditions last into next week.
Today’s high of 32-35 is expected to feel like 35-38.
Friday’s high of 32-34 will feel more like 36-40.
Saturday’s high of 32-35 will be accompanied by a humidex of 36-40.
Sunday’s high of 31-35 is expected to feel like 37-42.
Overnight temperatures during this stretch will be 20-23.
The city of Toronto has opened 15 Emergency Cooling Centres.
The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, those with chronic illnesses and anyone working or exercising outdoors.
People or pets should not be left inside a parked vehicle.
