American movie theatre chain A-M-C is hoping that bargain basement ticket prices will be the key to attracting moviegoers back.
They’re reopening 100 locations in the U-S next week and guests will only have to spend 15 cents for a ticket.
AMC, the world’s largest theater chain, closed its doors at the pandemic took hold and has delayed reopenings several times.
They say they’ll have safety measures in place like a mandatory mask policy and reduced capacity seatings.
The 15 cent promotion will only be for opening day but after that, tickets will still only cost 5 dollars.
They won’t be showing many new movies since the industry has been at a standstill for months.
