After agreeing to submit to an independent COVID-19 test with the results reviewed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, Donald Trump will go before voters in a televised town hall in Miami tomorrow night.
Democratic rival Joe Biden is appearing at a similar TV town hall event in Philadelphia.
Trump, who tested positive October 2nd, took a test Tuesday.
Both the clinical director of the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Fauci reviewed the president’s medical records and said they were highly confident Trump is ”not shedding infectious virus.”
The formal face-off set up by the non-partisan Commission on President Debate was cancelled.
In light of Trump’s infection, the Commission wanted to hold a virtual meeting, but the president refused to take part.
Both town halls will start at 8 p.m. Thursday, however, Trump’s will last an hour while Biden’s will run 90-minutes.
