It’s good news for people who were planning to travel before the pandemic.
It’s been announced by WestJet, the airline will provide refunds to all passengers who had flights cancelled from any time period as a result of COVID-19.
It covers flights by both WestJet and Swoop.
The refunds kick in Monday, November 2nd and could take between six and nine months to deliver.
The company says the refunds will be in the original form of payment, rather than a credit for future flights as it had been previously offering.
