The Zoomers’ advocacy group CARP – A New Vision of Aging has launched a campaign on its website with the headline ”Time’s Up for Long-Term Care Minister”.

Ontarians can add their signatures to a petition that asks ”What will it take to wake up the bureaucrats at Ontario’s Minister of Long-Term Care?”

Answer?
”Firing Minister Merrilee Fullerton may do the trick.”

Before asking readers to sign the petition, CARP says

”the second wave hit us and we’re still waiting for action.    We can’t afford to wait, we need to send an unmistakable signal that it can’t be ‘business as usual.’ ”
