She may have moved from Toronto to Halifax as part of a retirement plan but Anne Murray hasn’t gone away.
The 75 year old Canadian music legend says he wasn’t sure her singing voice was still intact until she dusted off her guitar and got the old pipes humming. Now, the 24-time Juno winner and 4 time Grammy winner compiled several of her classic tracks for a new holiday album.
“The Ultimate Christmas Collection” brings together 22 songs pulled from Murray’s various Christmas albums, including “Joy to the World, “Blue Christmas” and a rendition of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” with Michael Buble.
