On the eve of the anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement, the alarm bells continue to ring that there’s still a lot more action needed to remedy the climate crisis.
Saturday marks the fifth anniversary of the agreement’s signing.
The deal, signed by 196 countries including Canada, was a promise to fight climate change.

Just today, European Union leaders agreed to cut carbon emissions by 55% compared to 1990 levels by 2030.
