BBC radio bans Johnny Ray‘s version of ‘Such a Night‘ from being played on air. According to the BBC it blacklisted the single after receiving a number of complaints from listeners.

The original version of ‘Such a Night’ recorded by The Drifters with Clyde McPhatter was also banned from being played, this time in the US for its sexual suggestiveness.
