Dolly Parton and Carl Dean tied the knot in Catoosa County Georgia. The couple met outside of a Laundromat in Nashville. 

“He saw me walking outside of the Wishy Washy Laundromat the day I got to Nashville and that was in 1964. Two years later, we were married and I always make jokes of course that it’s been wishy washy ever since, but it’s worked.”

Carl Dean is notoriously private and according to Dolly, has only attended one public event with her back in 1966.
