On September 16, 1967 The Beatles were working at Abbey Road studios in London where they recorded 11 takes of their single Your Mother Should Know. In these 11 takes, the group attempted to give the song a stronger beat, however, all of this work was for nothing because they ended up discarding these takes in favour of the original recording.
