RECOVERING POLITICIANS

Ontario’s integrity commissioner says he will first complete his investigation of Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Steve Clark before turning his attention to ex-aide Ryan Amato’s Greenbelt actions. This, as Premier Doug Ford says he’s considering placing two properties back into the Ontario Greenbelt following a discovery that developers quietly listed the land for sale while government discussions were still ongoing.

And a recent poll indicates most Canadians – including many past Liberal supporters – think Prime Minister Justin Trudeau should resign instead of leading his party into the next federal election.

Libby Znaimer is joined by Lisa Raitt, former Deputy Leader of Conservative Party of Canada; Peggy Nash, former NDP Member of Parliament for the Parkdale-High Park electoral district in Toronto; and George Smitherman, former Ontario Liberal MPP for Toronto Centre, former health minister and deputy Premier, to discuss these topics and more.

CYBER FRAUD AND THE USE OF A.I.

Libby Znaimer is joined by Detective David Coffey with Toronto Police Service’s Financial Crimes Unit; and Dr. Ann Cavoukian, Executive Director at Global Privacy & Security by Design Centre for a discussion about cyber fraud, including the use of A.I.

UPDATE ON THE KENNETH LAW CASE

Police provided an update this morning on an investigation into a Mississauga man who allegedly sold a lethal substance to people at risk of self-harm, leading to dozens of suicides in Canada and overseas. Libby Znaimer is joined by Joseph Neuberger, criminal lawyer at Neuberger & Partners LLP to discuss the latest.
