Will Ottawa lift visa requirements for Ukrainians fleeing war at home and choosing to come to Canada? And, we’ve learned that as many as 60,000 Ukrainians have applied to come here under a special visitor visa program that would give them permission to work and study for three years. Since January, as many as 12,000 Ukrainians have arrived through traditional immigration streams. And, we ask Elise about JIAS Toronto’s efforts so far to bring over those fleeing the war.
