THOUSANDS OF ONTARIANS WITH LONG COVID SYMPTOMS

It’s known as “Long COVID.” It’s when patients infected with the virus deal with symptoms for weeks or even months. Thousands of Ontarians are reportedly dealing with the issue. Jane will speak with medical experts Dr. Fahad Razak and Dr. Peter Juni on the issue.

HOUSING AFFORDABILITY AN ELECTION ISSUE IN THE GTA

A new Nanos poll shows that, in the final few days of the election, affordable housing is a major issue for voters in the GTA. 32% of the 500 people polled said, unprompted, that housing was their biggest issue when they head to the ballot box on Monday.

GLOBAL BIRD RESCUE

From September 27-October 3, teams from around the world will be patrolling around buildings looking for birds that collided with windows. It’s all part of the Global Bird Rescue and it’s being organized by a group out of Toronto. They’re trying to continue to raise awareness about the damage to global bird populations from bird collisions with reflective windows on high rises and homes that are largely preventable.
