Hey! My next Sunday edition of Zoomer Crooners and Songbirds hones in on the sub genre of Garage Rock. American suburban teens were going nuts for RnB artists like Johnny Otis and Richard Berry. DIY, fuzzbox, tambourine and simple chords made it fun and easy for bored, irreverent kids in the late 50’s.

This garage phenomenon made it’s way to the UK in the early 60’s with bands like The Yardbirds, The Kinks, The Animals and Them to name a few.
