Traffic congestion and pedestrian safety in Toronto continue to be big issues for the public and for Zoomers. While Mayor John Tory continues to roll out a pilot project which places traffic police at a number of designated busy intersections, pedestrian accidents are continuing to rise with two Zoomers struck down just yesterday. Mayor Tory joins us today to discuss this topic along with Maureen Coyle from Advocacy group Walk Toronto who are dedicated to making Toronto a better city for pedestrians, striving to create safe, accessible pedestrian environments across the city.
