He became the face and voice of the armed forces in Africa after heading up a UN mission in Rwanda. An experience that shaped his life in ways he could not conceive at the time. Lieutneant-General Romeo Dallaire has written a new book titled “Waiting for First Light: My Ongoing Battle with PTSD”. He joins us in studio to talk about his experiences and why he wrote the book.
