Toronto council has requested that the police service hit the brakes on its new grey and white police cars due to a growing public concern. Council voted 26-13 in favour of a motion by Councillor. Some believe the new colour scheme which is grey with white lettering makes police harder to approach and undermines the service’s efforts to improve community relations. We speak with Councillor Joe Mihevic to get his view on this issue.
