Toronto City Councillor Michael Layton is suggesting the TTC implement cameras to nab drivers who speed past open TTC Streetcar doors. According to Layton, the cameras would snap photos of the offenders license plates, and violators would be issued a fine of $110 and three demerit points. But how would this affect those who are new to Toronto who aren’t sure of the rules when it comes to streetcars? TTC Executive Director of Corporate Communications Brad Ross joins Libby to discuss.
