Research has shown volunteering not only helps you live longer, but makes you healthier as well. Cancer Society’s ‘’Wheels of Hope’’ program helps cancer patients, who have no other way of getting to and from cancer-related care or who can’t afford the transportation costs.
The society is in need of volunteer drivers in GTA (especially Toronto, Woodbridge and Richmond Hill)
Guest host Jane Brown will be joined by a long-time volunteer with the society as well as a representative from the Cancer society to talk about volunteer needs and different opportunities for Daffodil Month.
