A new report from Canadian researchers suggests if 117 prescription drugs were covered under universal health care, the federal government could plug holes in the country’s health care system. The report says the medications make up 44% of all prescriptions. Steve Morgan, a professor with UBC’s School of Population and Health says it could save billions of dollars per year. He joins Libby to talk about the study.
