The Scarborough Subway extension and its cost overruns are coming up for debate at this week’s council meeting and some councillors are still speaking out against the idea, saying LRT’s would be better equipped for the area. One of those councillors, is Ward 31 Councillor Janet Davis. She joins us to talk about why the LRT should be reconsidered. Council will also be discussing a proposal from Councillor James Pasternak on making a bid for the 2022 Commonwealth. We’ll talk with Councillor Jon Burnside about both issues.
Councillor Janet Davis also spoke to us about making Toronto a more age friendly city. You can email her with your comments – at [email protected]
