Despite a push to eliminate traffic deaths in the city of Toronto to zero within the next 5 years, we’re still dealing with a high number of road fatalities. 20 people have died on Toronto roads, including 11 pedestrians this year alone. Yesterday, city officials met with Toronto Police, and safety advocate groups to see what more can be done. We’ll speak with Toronto Police Constable Clint Stibbe about what is being done on city streets, and Arrive Alive’s Michael Stewart about yesterday’s meeting.
