A new report released by the Canadian Institute for Health Information says that alcohol lead to more hospitalizations than heart attacks in 2016. That’s an average of 212 cases every day, and doesn’t include cases that were treated in emergency departments and released. Geoff Hynes – manager of population health at CIHI, joins Libby to talk about the report.
