A new study released by the Canadian Medical Association journal shows that patients whose emergency surgeries are delayed due to a lack of operating room resources have an increased risk of death or a need for extra recovery time in hospital. It’s another black mark on wait times in this province. OMA President Shawn Whatley joins Libby to talk about it.
