This afternoon, Ontario Finance Minister Rod Phillips will be delivering the province’s fiscal third-quarter results. With Queen’s Park backing off many proposed cutbacks in the last year, what will it look like and what about the classic political question: are you better off under this government? How do you think they are doing? They have been putting forward a kinder, gentler image since the summer – Rod Phillips is a key part of that. He made a promise that the Ford government will stick to its Ontario Municipal Partnership fund at 500-million dollars for 2021 after experiencing the backlash from last-minute cuts unleashed on cities with no warning. Still, a number of very recent polls put the leaderless Liberals ahead of the governing PC’s. Libby and guests discuss.
