Libby Znaimer is joined by Craig Thompson, Executive Director of the Patient Ombudsman, and then Jane Meadus, a staff lawyer and the Institutional Advocate at the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly (ACE) and Melissa Miller, Partner at Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP.

In the news: The Ontario Patient Ombudsman has been calling on Canadians to report nursing home related complaints amid the COVID-19 health crisis. They want to hear about situations where the safety of long-term care home residents and staff may be in significant jeopardy. And, last week, a proposed class action lawsuit was filed in Toronto against Responsive Group Inc., which manages and advises multiple private long-term care and retirement homes. Libby and our guests discuss the latest.
