The Montreal suburb of Côte-St-Luc has become the first Canadian municipality to make wearing masks while entering businesses and city-owned buildings mandatory. It’s a lot more stringent than anything we are seeing anywhere else. Transport Minister Marc Garneau, today, announced he is making wearing masks mandatory on federally regulated transportation, and that went into effect right away at noon today. Here in Toronto, masks on the TTC are recommended but not required. But, in Brampton, Starting on July 2, it will be mandatory for riders of public transit. Libby and Mayors discuss the latest.
